SMART ASSEMBLY POINT SYSTEM (SAPS)
Deer's Smart Assembly Point System goes live across two Saudi industrial sites.
Two field deployments of Deer's IIoT-enabled Smart Assembly Point System (SAPS) — first at a corporate data center in Dhahran, then at a gas processing facility in Shedgum — mark an early rollout of intelligent, sensor-driven emergency assembly infrastructure in the Kingdom.
Dhahran Corporate Data Center
Deer's first SAPS installation went live at a corporate data center in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, marking the system's initial field deployment. The unit — a freestanding, sensor-equipped assembly point — was commissioned on site with representatives from the project and facility teams present.
Shedgum Gas Plant
The second deployment followed at Shedgum Gas Plant, where the SAPS unit was installed as a designated emergency assembly point within the facility's perimeter. Plant personnel gathered at the site as part of the commissioning process, extending the system's field track record to a second, higher-hazard industrial setting.
IIoT Sensors in SAPS
Each SAPS unit is equipped with industrial-grade sensors to monitor gas hazards, temperature, humidity, and wind — providing data to support safe assembly and emergency response.
